Double amped speakers?

Ok well I installed my double din pioneer avh-p6800 h/u a few weeks ago and was too busy to figure this out but now that I changed my h/u, the stock speakers are being double amplified if i'm correct? Once by the stock pioneer amp and once again by the head-unit. I can only turn my vol. up to about 15 before hearing distortion and 15 is only a 1/4 of the max the deck goes. How would I cancel one of the amp(either stock or h/u)? Thanks!

if he has the 7 speaker system it's amplifieing all 7 speakers, and the easiest way would be to "convert" the rca output into the signal for the stock amp instead of the high outputs. (I am not positive that will work though) Otherwise bypass the stock amp? (you'll need a sub amp though) or just turn the volume down?

Yeah I got the Pioneer 7 speaker sound system, so what do you mean "convert" the rca output into the signal for the stock amp instead of the high outputs? I dont quite follow? Only problem about bypassing the amp is that I will lose my stock 10 which isnt too big of a deal since i'll be running 2 12s so I might just look into that.

yea ditch the 10 unless its the same kind of sub as the 12's, everyone says when u are running different kind of subs it sounds bad. dont quote me on that though
