I highly doubt that you will find any type of double din DVD player for under $700. Not a new one anyway. I just paid $1200 Canadian for my Kenwood double din. You can check on e-bay, they might have something. But usually for a decent new player your looking at 1000 and up.

Well I guess that is a pretty good price for that. However, I think Jensen is a much lower end product that brands like Alpine, Kenwood and Pioneer. As long as you don’t mind that, then I guess the price is Ok.

That is not a Pioneer unit, it's a Panasonic unit. Also a lower end product.

I believe that most Navigation units have a DVD which has the information on it. So a unit like that one would have two DVD slots, one for the Navigation and one for the multimedia DVD.

ohhh thats pretty cool.

im really on the fence about this. i really just want a nice clean looking Double DIN unit. cant find any regular CD ones though. i havent found any that i like in my cobalt yet though. id get a single DIN if it looked nice enough.

also...do the steering wheel controls work with aftermarket units?

i have a flip out and i like it, its not top of the lione because i wasnt spending that much money for it, i dont need navi. i just wanted a dvd player and ipod capibality... but find one you like and look on ebay i just bough mine from a seller called MillionBuy and they were great... but doubloe din is sick, jsut make sure it will fit our cars, the stock unit isnt very deep.. so you dont have too much to work with, i had to jiggle mine around to make all the wires fit and what not
