you can run the ground wire to one of the bolts under the driver's side panel, just like the fuse box panel on the passenger side but you might want to get a switch and ground it. also what jensen model do you have? if you need the code to bypass the unlawful message let me know.

yeah, you're right i just went outside and i need one of those yellow cable for video, now everything works perfect, i thought the Jlink cable would get video from the iPod, well it does but once it is in the Media Module, you need a cable to get the video from the M.M to the stereo video input...
but yeah, i only need somewhere to plug that ebrake cable, ANY BODY please...

There is a way to bypass this on most Jensen units, try this: http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/4/278797.html (look at the second post). I have never done it so I cant say if it works or not. Good luck.

head down to your local car audio dealer and tell them that you need a universal trigger output module...i had mine installed and read the instructions and they still baffle me a little bit the model I have is a "Peripheral" PTR-7 I had it installed on my alpine and it works like a jewel without having to go through the bullshit of setting the park brake....hope this helps...btw they are not just + and - inputs i tried it and it doesnt seem to work.....the output module is like $20.00.....IMHO well worth it

**** i finally got it, i open that cover right where the e-brake is and i found the freakin wire that they used to connect to the e-brake, i when to autozone and bought a switch and i just grounded the wire but i needed a switch because you need to do that stupid sequence with the e-brake, "pull up for 3 sec, and pull it down, and up and down." with the switch i just flip it on and off for that 3 sec... works great and very easy to do... thanx all of you that tried helping me out... if any one have a question how i did it in details just ask me later...
