DVD System ( Noob ?s )

Hey guys, this is my first post on CobaltSS.. im a former JBO member and im trading in my 01 Z24 for an 06 SS/SC and I am interested in putting a DVD player in the car to look like this

And im not sure if there is some kind of kit since Ive seen a few cobalts like this and its common to do, or if there is gonna be a lot of work involved and it wouldnt fit correctly without modification or if Pioneer makes a replacement unit that will just go in the dash to give a DVD system.

I know this has probably been asked before, but I looked around and didnt see it asked yet, and it may be a dealbreaker.. becuase if I could just have the unit replaced with a Stock DVD system or one made for it that isnt a flip out... ill probably pick up the car and do this right away

Thanks guys

Yeah there is custom work involved. the HU in the HVAC area is a custom set up. you have to modifie a double DIN mounting kit to do in. then extend the HVAC wiring to another location. now that could be where the cup holders are or in the head liner on the roof or in the glove compartment (I cant stand that move though, just doesnt look factory.

I would go with a double DIN HU my self or motorizd and put three guages below the HU. Originally I wanted to do this but the biggest scren I have seen is 7" just like the pioneer DDIN.

So I could buy a double din DVD player.. that would simply replace the factory Headunit ?

Im not interested in relocating the HVAC or anything.. I pretty much just wanna swap out headunits if at all possible. Would something like this work ?
