Factory XM tuner location

I need to know where the factory XM tuner is in a 2006 SS/SC. I have the XM tuner and OnStar, but I dont want to use XM. I am trying to install an iPod interface, but the XM tuner is causing problems. I thought it was on the rear deck, under the trim piece, so I disconnected that box, and it turns out that was the OnStar unit. When I turned the car on, I still had the three nag-stations on XM, but no onstar, so that wasnt it.

Anyone have any idea where the hell this thing is? Thanks!

I looked behind the glove box and all I saw was the interior air filter and the blower for the A/C and heater. Do I need to disassemble something? because flipping the glove box down and poppin it out doesnt reveal anything

Its not behind the glove box. It is under the rear deck of the car, all the way back where the windshield meets the trunk. You have to remove the rear headrests to be able to get the trim piece loose enough to reach it.
