altezza rice....before i knew any better. LOL i actually cracked one of the original housings and replaced it with what was all the craze at the time....
there is nothing wrong with them except they dont really go with the car...kinda stick out and everyone hates them including me.....but hell its my daily driven cavalier with 90k miles on it and i dont feel like spending any more money on it since im working on my cobalt.

the amps are mounted behind the sub box and when i drop the seat down in the back you can see the amps mounted on a diamond plate background...its actually pretty neat...They say Playboy Edition across the amps in purple script :-) I love the setup...we might rework the box and take it out for my cobalt...of course it would have to be pretty much redone because playboy is not the theme of my cobalt.

Ive paid for every car i have owned. ive been out living on my own since i was 17 which is why it took a while to get where i am now. I started working full time when i was 15. I can honestly say that anything i provide for myself is done with the money i earn...and have worked 3 jobs before at 1 time just to be able to afford what i needed.
I just happen to have very good credit and was able to get both cars without needing a co-signer.

Just keep a steady job and you will get where you need to be when you are my age and even though it sucks now you will be better off in the long run...plus parents are not there forever..so id say be independant and handle your own finances and you will be grateful...

for all the times i went without **** and cursed my parents for not buying me the **** i wanted or needed ..i am 10000000 times happier now knowing i dont need to rely on them.

Yeah im with u HackAbuse
Im 17 i was going to get the Cobalt SS/SC but after all papers signed i kinda looked at myself and was like mabye i shouldnt get this car for my first because i still want atleast 5$ in my pocket after gas/insurance/carpayment.
So now i have a 2006 Pontiac Pursuit GT on the way its the exact same thing as teh Cobalt SS/Na, its pretty sweet Im paying for it all myself, and the Pursuit Gt is only in Canada if u didnt know....

check around your area for a place that will build you one, i doubt that you will find one that you can buy pre-made that will be any better than a basic box, i just had a custom setup done in mine but no fiberglass, still looks good though...plan on spending some $$$ for fiberglass and time unless you do it yourself...

yea sorry bout that...
but anyway audioxtc/ cobalt-addiction could do a box as long as you have the same car as me and we are talking about a cobalt. we could take measurements of the truck space and go from there...eventually we will probably offer custom fiberglass boxes that are built to go right into the trunk with limited installation required....but that is something we will have to look into...we did this with the ford probe...all you would need to do is specify what size subs you would have and the box would be built accordingly
http://www.probeaddiction.com/images...deo/subbox.jpg

this is an example of a simple box made by probeaddiction.

that is nice. i was think about 2 10" Kicker L7s but ware the factory sub is, and on the other side angled toward the back seat (in the victory red, but flat black would do) i liked the probe box. the one with the amp and sub in the same box. but my amp is under the trunk mat. but i would like to see what you come up with badg1rl. price does not realy matter, as long as it is under 2500. cuz i can get the hole trunk done for that (no subs tho)

just remember that the 50 bucks and hour will add up quick when working with fiberglass. ;-)
