Fiberglass work in trunk...want ideas

Anyone have any cutom-built fiberglass work done in your trunks? I did some work in my 00 Stang before I wrecked it, Honestly I really enjoyed building it even better than how it turned out, even though it was very expensive. I want some idea to think about for my balt when I put a system in it. I'd like to see pics of what you guys/girls have, if your willing to advertise. =) thanks!

I'm getting two twelves put in custom boxes (one on each side of trunk) and it's gonna get wrapped in oem color carpet. I'm going for the stealth look. My appointment is this Friday to get the mold. I'll post pictures asap

sounds good guys....keep em coming. As soon as I get going on the project, I'll get pics put up. Money is way tight for me right now, I got about a 30% cut in hours at work, but its supposed to only be temporary, so we'll see what happens

I was just about to post those same pics. That looks sick and it's what I have in mind for the system I have.

Looks good, I was thinking about something like that, but painted black to match my car

dont lose your lunch when you hear what that costs people if its anything like the custom fab labor around here. I know how to do it myself, so its all good.

Mine is gonna cost about 300 in materials. Fiberglass enclosure, 3" port tuned to 32 Hz 1.1 cu.ft airspace for a Digital Designs 1508. I will be painting it myself as well either black to match the interior of the redline's trunk or silver to match the car. I don't know how these others built there boxes but if i was to replecate mine and also port the enclosure and sell it through our shop it would be around a grand carpetted.... more if it was also painted to match.

its been a few years since I was really into the custom audio stuff....back then my buddy was charging 80 an hour....and I'd have to guess that one box like the first poster has, in fiberglass ready to primer for paint was at least 20 hours work....not to mention the waiting time for resins to harden and this and that....LOTS of sanding time

Looks great guys.

those Digital designs subs are hossy...my car audio buddy has 4 of the 15's he's saving for a cheap chevy astro or station wagon...haha

Our installer is running 4 15" Digital Designs 9515's in his blazer and cracked out his windshield the other day.

Enough room for amp rack above the box? would look good floating above it...

I think the 9515's are what my buddy has....if it is..I believe every word of the cracking windshield.....just the magnets on those things are bigger than most 10 inch subs altogether...haha
