Well, even though it took a month at least (i was really busy) i finally got my speakers, deck, sub, and sat. radio in.





I moved the 12v pug under the dash to plug my sat. radio in, and i demelled out the hole for the bass boost knob.

mounted my alpine type s in the stock box. 6" deep sub + 4" deep box = 2" spacer!!!!!

 

eeesh! Not feeling the stock enclosure.. But ill bet it pounds pretty hard. Awesome head unit aswell. I thought the deck has sub control though??

 

I got the same deck !!! How is sat radio ??? Worth the $$$ ???

 

yeah the deck has a sub control, but this control goes right from the amp, for a little more fine tuning

and sattelite radio is deffenatly worth the money no matter what music you listen to

 

looks good although like bullet im not feeling the stock enclosure... do you know how to fiberglass (or know someone who does?) i bet a lil resin and some cloth could make that look nice as hell

i dont really know how to fiberglass, but it is defenately a project i could do with my dad's help this summer

 

I think if you search the how too section there is a post about fiberglassing. Maybe that will help.

+1 rep. damn fine job on the bass remote knob. I always seem to end up not wanting to cut and just stick it to something.

 

change the deck , buy a better sub, get a box , and a better amp mount , and you should be good

lol!! I think he has a great deck. And whats wrong with an alpine type s? Pretty solid sub imo.
