Fog Light Installation

I have an 06 LS that i have put an SS bumper on. I have recently purchased the fog light housings for the bumper and now want to install fogs into them. The car does not have any of the harnesses for factory fogs. I was wondering what kind of harness i would need. I think we have H11 bulbs stock but unsure if just a plain H11 harness would work. Also I have seen a lot of the H11 harnesses marked for HID install and have relays and everything else installed on them. Anyone have some incite to this. Thanks

My guess is that the main body wiring harness has a plug for the stock fog light harness. I wonder if it is possible to find just the fog light harness and plug it into that. Obviously you will have to find the wiring for the fog light button as well that is mounted inside the car too.

I have not looked at that part of the wiring before so I am not sure if there are plugs or anything like that but my guess is that all cobalts have the same main body wiring harness and options such as fog lights are just plugged into this main wiring harness.

I am also unsure if there is a main body harness that would allow me to just plug in the fog harness but that would be sweet. I never really thought of doing it that way I was just planning on wiring it into the running lights so that the fogs were on all the time. If there is a plug an play method tho I would def do that instead

Well I poked around and no they dont have the extra harnesses. Which seems weird to me. I figured they would have one wiring harness for all the cars and just not hook up options that arent there. My dad's pickup is like that. Of course that's a Toyota.
