^^^ answers to above will help.

Also, do the door chimes (key in ignition for example) still work? Do the fronts kick back in if you open the door with the keys in and radio on?

Sounds like a bcm problem on the surface of it but not really enough to go on......

The reason for no chimes is because they play through the drivers side speaker on the 07 and up's.
If it progressivly got worse over time, and it would work for a while then not work for a while then I would be inclined to think it was a loose connection or a short somewhere, rather than the speakers being fried or the front channel of the amp blowing out. Just because you shook them at the door doesn't mean there can't be a problem between the speaker and the headunit ( I'm guessing since its an LT theres no Pioneer stero in it, thus no amp inbetween). It is under waranty but you know GM going to say its because of the XM radio and not cover it so....

Trouble shoot it, taking the door panels off requires removing all off 3 screws, then just pulling the panel out and up, take it off, unscrew the speaker, take it to the trunk, unplug the lead from one of the back speakers and plug it into the front one.
If it works then chances are you have a loose connection somewhere or one of the wires has warn through and is in contact with metal.
If it doesn't then the speakers fried, go buy new ones

Added- I just thought of something, does the car still retain the RAP feature, does the radio stay on for 10 mins after the car is off?
If it doesn't then I would tend to agree with one of the above posts that say its a BCM problem, in which case take it to GM before it causes real damage

I wrote a how-to with pics on the door panel removal.
Hopefully it'll be approved on the how-to forum by ReignSS before you decide to take this on.
It's actually not super hard to take it apart.

^^ Agreed
The whole process of taking the door panel off should take you 5 mins, 3 mins if you use a power drill/screwdriver and all you need is a star screwdriver and a flathead or even a paint scraper to pry the bottom of the door out a bit so you can get your fingers under there.
To me the hardest part was getting the little panels behind the handle and in pocket out, but when I did it I didn't have a small flathead with me and was to lazy to go get it,

Take it to the dealer, should still be under warranty if its an 07 unless you have a lot of miles on it.

^^^ x2

Unless you hacked up the wiring to hook up the sat radio I would let the dealer fix it under warranty

And sorry, I misread your first post, thought the front speakers worked when you put the signals on. Reread it and realized you meant the signals still worked, just no clicky noise.

its best to cut out the stock speaker and use it as a bracket
