Ok so I have a 07 LS with the DIC in the speedo, base ass stereo, 0 Options. All I need is a regular harness and a regular mount kit? I really dont want to loose anything, but depending on what Ill loose I can cope. Thanks in advance.

Ok so I decided to get to the bottom of this so to speak. I figured that not having the headunit hooked up would be the same as having an aftermarket one (in terms of loosing funtions controlled by the stocker) so I disconnected it and all I think I lost was the door chime. The dome light worked, the DIC worked, is there anything else I should check? Is there a harness that dosnt loose anything? I dont really mind loosing the door chimes, but if anything else goes I dont think I want to **** with it.

I had a stereo system put in where the Alpine head unit is ran to a 4 channel amp and also a 2 channel amp for my two 10'' subs . Now I was tired of the extra weight of the subs and sperate boxes ( plus I wanted the trunk space back )so I took the subs out but still have the wiring for the two channel amp which I want to run to the stock sub. How do I do this. The wiring that is after the factor connector leading to the sub has 2 black and 2 red wires . Would I hook up the speaker wires to the one red and one black???. Please help I'm tired of no bass.

Bump^

Also, I made a How To for removing the radio, think you should add this to the page?

Coming next, speaker removal guide.

Not unless you know how to wire it and program it.
