getting some 15's!!!

getting some 15's!!!

so i decided to upgrade to 2 15's instead of new 10's. i was gonna do 1 15" but its buy one get one free and the box i got for free is for 2 15's.
my question is can the jl audio 500/1 push 2 15" kicker comps.
comp- 250 watt rms 500 watts max.
and also the subs come in 4 and 8 ohm. which one would be better?

your not going to fit 2 15's in your trunk without a custom box...

id stick with 10s or 12's

2 15's in a custom sealed box < 2 12's in a properly built custom ported box


BUT to answer ur question's get the 4ohm version and yes the amp would push them jus set ur gains correctly so ur not clipping the fk out of ur subs and have them do their little magic smoke show

x2 on the 2 15s part. have u checked to see if they fit. i can just imagine 2 15s in seperate sealed boxes. no offece but that would be funny as hell.

if u get the / series amp (500/1) then it wouldn't really matter. probably go with the 4ohms and wire it to 2 ohm thou in case u ever swap amps

a dude i know has 2 15' powerbass subs in a sealed box that he stole, hes also got a little yellow amp thats like 6 sq inches that does "1500 watts"
