Heres just a little video of my system...I realized after making this that my gain was still a little high on my amp...It was at about 3/4 for this video Im now running it at about 2/3...Im looking to get rid of these locally and get maybe a W7 or Type X 10" somewhere down the road...Sorry about the shatty sound quality this camera doesnt like anything loud lol

haha thats crazy how much it shakes youre phone. i have a similar headunit, or maybe the same one. came with the car when i bought it from my cousin. i love having my ipod hardwired into it, chillen in the glove compartment and selecting everything strait thru the radio

8/10 i like it, definitely still nice and loud/clear when doing 80 with the windows down

 

Ya I dont have my iPod anymore so I just use an 8GB USB key...Works pretty good...I have the USB extension cable coming out right by my e-brake...

 

I dont get why people have the bass up so loud to where it just sounds distorted and distorts everything else

 

Its the mic in the camera that does that lol

 

well, I mean ive been in alot of cars and heard alot going down the street that just sounded like that...even with decent systems.

But yeah, camera wouldn't do it justice

 

yeah i just looked for sure, i got the alpine 9884 headunit. i do love it except everything glows red and the 6 buttons on the left are blue. even when turned to red light it looks purple during the day. if it were all red id be much happier.

yeah i hear ya on the bass disporting everything else. a lot of people that put aftermarket subs in are all "yeah yo sick bass brotha, bump that lil weezy" but u need good speakers too so it all evens out. i think this system sounds real good tho.

its nice having it that loud when ur windows are down and youre on the highway at 60+. my friends mustang (not even gt) the system in it sounds good, but once youre doing like 50+ the engine and ambient wind noise completely blurr out the music when at max volume, kinda sucks =\

 

how did you even get those in there. The box im building is for 2 12's and it is only 15 inches high and can barely fit in there...i still got to take the back seats out to get it in
