Graphics Motion Analyzer Deck

This is what im getting from my gf for x-mas, she works at Best Buy so she gets a pretty good price for it. The G-Analyzer thing sounds kina neat but i doubt if its real acurate. From the reviews that i read on it, it sounds like a nice deck with lots of setting and options which i like. The all said the display wasint the best but thats ok if i was going for display i would of gotten a DVD player. Any way if any one on here has had any experience with it let me know. Thanks.

if your looking for great sound get a sony deck ive gotten the best sound out of those, what contributes to the great sound is they have DSO (digital sound organization) and eQ7 thats just a preset equalizer (rock, hip/hop, etc) you will be impressed with the quality

IMO Sony is nothing but ****. I went from Sony(dirty bass) to an Alpine(crisp clean bass) and haven't looked back since.

I HATE button volume, I need a rotary encoder to function. Out of habit when I start my car i turn the volume down, well with Alpine if you do this while it's starting up the volume goes to 0 automagicly, nice feature IMO in case last time you left the car you had it up pretty good.

I've had a Kenwood CD/MP3 player in my old Saturn for probably 4 or 5 years now and it's never given me a problem, and it sounds good. When you start posting asking questions about head units in a forum like this everybody's going to post about their favorite and bash everyone else's favorite. You know what they say.....opinions are like a*sh*les, everybody has one, and they all stink.

Better off going to a specific car audio forum for a question like that, it's more likely someone has had experience with that particular deck there.

Kenwood/Alpine/Eclipse and higher end Pioneer are great. Allow me to elaborate on higher end pioneer. Spend $100 at wally world for a Pioneer get what you pay for, spend a bit more get better.

I started with a Sony CDX-1000 then moved up to a newer sony(forget the model number only had it a month before I was sick of it).

Then got my Alpine and have been in love ever since. I like Alpines mainly because the tuned down on the flashy eye candy and went with white text on a black background, To me that look is the SEX. I have the 9847 now. But I had the newer 9856 for 3 days before it got stolen and it was nice.

My friend has a Kenwood in his Cavy and it may be the model your looking at, not too sure but his looks sharp and sounds nice.

Anyway when it comes to systems everyone has their brands.

To me Blaupunkt Decks seem like complete jokes, just something flashy for the trailer trash, but I have no personal experience with them. I also won't touch Audiobahn Subs I've read too many stories of them catching on fire.

ya the blaupunkt deck did suck it was also way overpriced like high 400's, i had a audiobahn immortal it was a damn good sub, but ya i heard thet about their subs i think its mostly the audiobahn flame series that the coil would over heat and then catch on fire

I love My L5 all I do is turn the remote bass knob just under 1/4 up and I have a nice SQ setup. 1/2 up decently loud. All the way up rattles everything. KX600.1 600RMS@2ohm. I just rewired my L5 at 2 ohm last night.
