Ground for HIDs?

When I was installing my HID kit from ddm the ground wires weren't long enough to reach the bolt on the fender so I bolted it to the headlight bracket mount as pictured below. the lights start up but I was just wondering if the connection there was as good as the one on the fender. I'm just worried about bulb life or performance being diminished because of a bad ground.

Your ground is seriously to short to reach the fender bolt? That's odd. Both relay kits I've bought from them had a long enough ground to reach the strut mounts.

Yeah they were, I was rather suprised. Do you think I should just lengthen the wire to reach the fender?

no a buttconnector is going to add as much resistance as the "better" ground
