H11's that resemble 6000K

Not a very exciting question, but I'm just seeing what everybody else runs...

Trying to avoid fog HID's altogether, I'm really just after a bulb that will simulate the color of my 6000K kit. I've tried a few and the closest match were these cheap bulbs off e-bay for 8 bucks.

Anybody have any suggestions? The contrast in color is crushing my soul.

you can get the nokya bulbs or the led h11 if you want just the look, but you wont get any light outup form the led's.

So for those of you who use Nokya bulbs... you're pleased with the results?

I guess I could specify that I have a Beamers 6000K HID kit. Off topic, but for any of you that have wondered about that kit, or may want to purchase it... I would recommend it to anyone. Good quality harnesses, plug and play and the ballast's are slim and small. Installed perfectly under the headlight brackets.

I've thought about going LED, as they're very reliable, but have not gone that route yet as I know they don't project almost any light at all.

huh? 3,000k or 5,000k destroys halogen foglights in every condition.. once you get higher in the K's yes its more color then anything.

The cost? Hehe... I think I've already decided to get the look I want I'll have to go HID's. Was just seeing if someone else at least achieved the color match without going that route.

Off topic, but how many of you have had water intake/moisture problems with your factory head light assembly? My driver's side took in moisture halfway through this winter, I had it replaced a month and a half ago, and it's already failed again. I've heard that it's a major problem.

Do HID's fit in all those aftermarket headlights sold? Love the halo style, but I've heard they won't work with HID's.

Stock headlights leaking isnt a big issue but some have had the problem. Hids are cheap we have a GB going on right now! HIDs fit the aftermarket projectors but to make then fit correctly most of them need 2 holes drilled in the sockets so the lead wire on the HID bulb faces down. Id stay away from aftermarket or "ebay" projectors. THey never last as long with lenses cracking/pealing and also leak issues. Then again your stocks didnt last either lol. There will always be people who swear by the projectors tho as the greatest things ever and will never fail. lol
