HackAbuse's New Bump

If you haven't heard, those are:
Four SoundStream Audio PCW12's
Two Sony XM2200GTX Amplifiers (500wRMSx1 @ 4Ohms)

Tomorrow morning I am taking her to get metered.

The next few weeks will be fabrication of paneling and upholstery to make it pretty.

The best thing about the setup, is the port going into the cabin acts almost like a bandpass box. It is incredibly loud!! Its seriously the loudest thing I have ever heard.

The last picture is an indication that I have too much weight on the back end, LOL

Not sure about the individual subs, but each box weighs about 100 pounds with the subs in em

The best part about it is I have about 3" of space behind each box to stash stuff, like amps and wiring

I hit 140.8dB on a TermLab today, my alternator was taking a beating though, lol, I had 50% throttle and was barely getting 2000RPM

I need a new monoblock amp, these Sony's can't handle the power

In my bro's old Acura Legend, he had 3 12'' JL Subs, Pionner Super Tuner III (I think), and 2 amps; Alpine 1500w for subs and a 300 something for the deck. He needed a new, more powerful alternator in about a month or 2

140.8dB with 4 subs man i hit a 146.8 on a usac meter at a usac event here in missouri u sure it must be the amp's or amp i had 2 12" rockford fosgate comp subs in my 2003 cavalier and the meter they metered at the dash and at the floor and it ranged roughly about the same .

not a bad meter though u def need to tune it and or get a new amp

no new bumps in my cobalt as of this time
