Halo wiring help

Halo wiring help

I got a set of Halo Projectors from cobalt addiction and im gonna wire them up tonight with my friend but im not sure what size/type resistor to use so they don't burn out prematurely. Any one know what resistor i need for them?

um, you dont ned resisters....just wire them up. Check my how-to in my sig. they will not burn out unless there burned out of the factory which some are. Hope that helps

Oh really well thats good news, to be honest i dont know **** bout electrical things and wiring, my friend said to ask what kind of resister to use. Good write up im gonna use it later. I got one question still; after your wired everything up, do the new lights work the same as the stock one with the running lights on all the time and the autolight sensor? And for step 5 and 6 on the write up, i don't have any brown wires coming from the harness, just a red one, blue one, and two black wires, which do i splice into?

you should have a brown wire in the harness. if not splice into the power wire from the DTRL. and yes they will work the same as your stocks.

ur running lights will still come on automatically and also at night. when you turn the switch manualy to runnign lights then the halos leds and turnsignals come on
