headunit not dimming.

So i just installed an AVH-X5600bhs in my 2010 cobalt LT sedan.. everything works perfectly except the dimmer. Im running the proper metra/axxcess wiring harness and one thing that I did notice is that both the illumination and dimmer wires go nowhere... being on the metra/axxcess side they are there but on the factory harness size there is no wires. I saw that its suppose to be a gray wire but I dont see it anywhere.

Does anyone know what pin and which plug the factory illumination wire goes? I found them for the upgraded radio and other years, just not for my 2010

depending on how tech savy you are theres 2 options if you must have illumination (not dimmer btw)

1 module harness. the box decodes the data signal and gives u illumination

2 think alarm... when you install an alarm you have to tap somewhere to get a headlight signal. I did this on my old 06 and it worked fine but if you dont know what your doing you probably shouldn't try this

I was hoping I could grab something off of the hvac panel or fuse block.
