OK so i drove 45 min today just to get the gmos lan 04 harness and the harness wont match up with my factory stereo!!!! Am i doing something wrong???? There are two plugs that come from the factory stereo and they dont fit with my harness??!!??

 

what year is your car? pics? i work at bestbuy and we dont carry the LAN 04 harness!

If no onstar you need PAC C2R-GM11 not the gmos lan 04

 

alright well you guys have already helped me lol its an 07 no onstar. The one i got from best buy just says gmos 04 it doesnt say lan-not sure if that makes a difference. SS_16 did you use the PAC on yours?

 

Well there's your problem, you need that PAC harness. I also have an 07 with no onstar. I have the PAC, but not installed yet... waiting to get my indash very soon.

will i be able to return that harness at any best buy or does it have to be the one i bought it at?

 

any bestbuy, and like i said we dont carry the lan 04 you would need the GMOS LAN 04

 

lol pac is just a company you dont need their harness. but metra makes both the gmos lan 04 and gmos 04

they are very different and it looks like u got the gmos 04 not the gmos lan 04

I have an 07 with no onstar and I'm currently using the GMOS LAN 04.
It hooked up just fine.
So either you did something wrong, or if it don't look like this then you got the wrong one

 

yea i had the gmos 04 not the lan 04. ******* idiots at best buy dont kno jack ****. No offense ctcsoccer lol. I knew i should have just called crutchfield in the first place

 

or if you would have just listened to what i said, i said bestbuy doesnt carry it and would have just been easier to order it online (ebay)
