help with insatll

im installing a new suba and amp in my car, and i need a little help. im using the wires from the original sub to hook up my amp, they said it could be done so thats what im doin. im using the high input plug since i havent bought a new head unit yet. anyways, for the remote wire(the blue one) where can i hook that up so i dont have to tear apart my h/u, its not that big of a problem if i do but i herd there were ways to hook it up in other spots that didnt involve that step. any input would be grea. this is only my second install, so if i sound like i dont know what im talking about then your right cuz i really dont( so please dont yell at me to bad)

for the remote wire, do a fuse tap, windshield wiper fuse would work well. As for using the factory amp power....ehh I wouldnt do that, I'd just run a new ground and power, the battery is right there in the trunk so it wouldnt have to go far. How powerful is the amp?

I plugged mine into windshield wiper fuse. Middle consol, on tha passenger side, near feet area. Popped open tha door, remove tha Windshield fuse, and attach ur Remote wire to that. Since ur wipers only get power when car is turned on, ur amp does tha same.
