help rear speakers

help rear speakers

I need help i got new rear speakers just need help installing them.. Is the process easy? does that black cover piece just come off or do you have to remove the side panels above it?? can anyone help please thanks

You have to almost take your entire back part of your car out. Remove your lower part of the back seat, the side panels pop off, next its the c pillers those are held in with one 7mm bolt and then pop off, then you can remove your rear deck. When you pull off your rear deck your most likely going to breat these metal clips that hold it on in the back but thats cool. You can use a strip of foam or cloth so it wont rattle. Hope that helps some.

Your car might be slightly different but that sould be close to the correct steps.

ya i sometimes take out the rear window panel as well to make it easier (a bitch to put back on) and watch out because on one of the cars i've done it was taped together with the c pillar. not sure if it was factory since it was only one out of the 5 or so i've done but just FYI
