help updating the LS's System

I'm looking to install a 4 channel amp and would like to know if the ones below are any good.

A rockford fosgate p4004 (50x4)RMS
A Power Acoustic TS960-4 (100x4)RMS
A Alpine MRV-F540 (80x4)RMS
A Infinity 7541a (111x4)RMS

I'm looking for between 50 and 150 watts a channel and looking to spend under 350 for the Amp....if it's in the area of that I can probably find a deal online to get in my price range. If anyone has anything else I should look at let me know.

I'm going to upgrade the g/f's car (2005 cobalt LS w/ base stereo) and I am looking at simple clean installs. I'm going to be putting a Infinity Basslink in her trunk, and I need to give the corner speakers some more power then. She wants to hear the music with the windows open and 80 mph winds going by. I'd like to put the Amp under a seat (drivers or passengers) so as to leave as much trunk space as possible. How much space do i have to work with under there?

I've also been looking for a Stock cobalt CD/MP3 player (chrome) to replace the non MP3 one with, But if I go aftermarket there too, I need to find something chrome and that will take up all the space, is it a DIN and a Half opening? And how much space do i have behind it?

Any help greatly appreciated.... (How is air flow under a chair? I have amps laying down in my car and with a fan there fine, but there enclosed too, is it open enough under the chair to not use a fan?) Thanks.

I would never even look at the rockford the alpines are ok but they are really bad for over rating there amps. If you want a seriously good 4 channel i would go with JL audio 300/4. One of the best amps ive ever owned. But they are not cheap.

stay away from rockford, theyre 4 channels are too touchy
i doubt there is enough room under the front seat for an amp, what about under the spare tire? or mounted somewhere in the trunk?

and the basslink isnt really too spectacular, id be surprised if you could hear it at 80

I agree with Taro but if you don't want to spend that much I'd go with Alpine.

Go with JL Audio 300/4. I have that amp in my Mazda, great amp. Just remember, you ALWAYS get what you pay for.

You go cheap on an amp and you get cheap sound. Life sucks that way lol
