HID guys help a brotha out, lol

Ok I've got high/low HID's in my factory headlamps and ever since I installed them when the drivers side is on dim the passenger side is on high and when I hit the high beams they flip. The kit came off my dad's 01 Dakota R/T, it was installed when he got it and when we put it in my car we kept it all together in one giant piece. So what I'm trying to figure out is how to fix this, do you think they could be wired wrong? Where should I look for the wiring to be wrong (i.e. bulb connections, ballast connections, etc...) I really wanna get this problem remedied as soon as I can cause it's really annoying to me and I know that passenger side headlight has got to annoy my oncoming traffic, lol. Thanks in advance for the help guys and or gals!

double check to make sure the wires for the blue plug are the same for both sides.

ya cuz from the sounds of it, one of the wires is crossed so the signal for the high is on the low terminal and vice versa for the low terminal

That's what I've been thinking but I wasn't sure where to look. This is my first vehicle I've ever had HID's in and I don't think I can ever go back to a halogen bulb, lol
