Hey my buddy is looking for an HID kit for his Audi. Where would be the best place to get it from? I have already tried BUYHIDS.com but there website is down? Tried to contact Mc Hurley or whatever, but he is nothing but a dick who doesn't want nor need my business apparently. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I checked on ebay, but I would rather leave that to a last resort.

Actually all I asked was if you carried them. Then when you were like $50 higher then I decided to see if you would be willing to come down in order to earn the business. But, apparently you don't need nor care about the business as you just work your normal job as it is. HID's are a dime a dozen and they all use the basic same ballasts as it is. I got one off Amazon for $80 shipped came with a badass case and a lifetime warranty. Not that the case is needed lol just an extra nice "customer service" thing. I emphasized that because I know you don't have any.

I understand trying to get the best price, and it doesn't hurt to ask. But don't be a dick about it when he can't do anything to help you and then come here to bash him. If you want cheaper then go buy those and be done with the issue. BuyHids is a great vendor and bends over backwards to help its customers when they can, I can speak from personal experience on that.

 

Ive delt with both BuyHids and DDM. DDM customer service is so hard to work with and there warrenty is a pain to work with. Also you now have to wait 2+weeks for orders because they ship them from China.

BuyHIDs is in the states, fast shipping and GREAT customer service. You have a question all you have to do is PM them or give him a call!

 

BuyHIDs is going to be your best bang for your buck, and $50 for an HID kit is pretty damn good considering the great quality of their kits. I think you need to stop being so sensitive.

 

the kit wasn't even for me. I was giving him some business because a friend wanted a HID kit for an audi. I figured since it was a referral that I would get a little bit better deal than the rest. Oh well BUYHIDS missed out on that opportunity and I won't be suggesting them in the future.

I have already bought two kits from him in the past and it was alright to deal with him. Some hiccups but nothing serious. So that is why I suggested him to my buddy. I told my buddy that he gave me a good price before so he would probably do the same for him. But when I asked he said its $100 I asked if that was a discounted price and he said "sure". lol Like if you don't give a **** don't even PM me back then.

referrals are business I just figured it was the least he could do since I bought him the business. Had I not said anything the guy would have just bought them elsewhere. Oh well no skin off my back. Just posted the thread to get help and to let the community know what's going on with a company. This is America so I have all the right to tell people what I think of someone. I work in real estate and get referrals all the time. I have a client that is moving to another state, so I call a recommended realtor of that state and offer them the business. In return I get 25% of their commission. So I think a few bucks off on a product I'm sure he isn't making more than $5 on isn't too much to ask. But, apparently they should be known for something else because customer service sure isn't it.
