HID Relay

to the people with hids do you have to use a relay because i have been through 3 hid kits now 2 where used and this last one was new and it always seems to be the passeger side that goes out, on this last on it could be just a bulb i havent checked it yet,

Nope I have a complete HID setup out of a Lexus RX330, Ballast and projectors, (I retrofitted the projectors into the 2nd gen halos) and I haven't had a problem.

I build custom projector wiring harnesses... not sure if that would be different than a HID kit, but both use ballasts and hid bulbs... and I would never not use a relay... sometimes it's necessary to use two. And I put inline fuses between the relay and between each ballast.
