HID system in a 2007 Chevy Cobalt LS

Ok, so this is the cobalt I am currently running. Notice there are no holes or imputs for fog lamps. I would like to insert some HID fog lamps. What is the best way to go about it, as in if I should go out and get a new bumper with the slots already cut into it, or if I should attempt to cut them myself? I ultimately plan on putting the HID's in the headlights as well, I just plan on trying to figure out how to do the foglamps first.

Get the ss bumper. It's easier and also looks better.

SS or any base bumper with the black inserts for fogs, and wire harnesses to make life easier. You can try to cut your bumper, but it won't look right.

Hm, then the question remaining for me is would the ss bumper connect to the ls model?
I have to say I am working on a very limited budget right now. So my next step then
would be if it does connect properly to the ls, I will have to make a run to a few junk yards
to find the bumper.

I ran some led strips to look like foglights for a little bit, had no output and didn't match my headlights so I just cut the wires. Theres no good way to do it with that bumper.
