After seeing a lot of other peoples headlights around town with HIDs w/o fogs I think my HIDs suck.. or my projectors do.. this is what they looked like when I first put them in:



why is that bright line there..?

and idk why I just noticed this but my lights light up opposites of the roads and make an X really... are all projectors like that?

did you try aiming them...

 

Aim them against a light colored wall

 

been doing that for the past month.. ha its like I turn and turn and barely anything happens..

 

park 15-20 feet from a wall, and adjust them till they both line up. drive around, if you feel they need to be higher then back to the wall and raise them.

What projectors are you using? Cheaper and smaller projectors will have less output.

 

You do realize, Ebay projectors are made for halogens NOT hids. The output is crap. GO retrofit or stay stock. Heck stock with hids is better then that lol.

quit being so upset, they're all the same thing no matter where you got them.

You have to turn both screws in the back, not just one. You have to turn them both the same amount too.

Also check to make sure your bulbs are seated in the projector as best as possible, and make sure the bulbs are in the correct direction.

yes those are "Ebay" Lights. idc where you buy them from, there all from the same factory and some are just sold on ebay. If you paid more then ebay price then you waste your $$.
