HID's won't turn on...

Ok, I've had hids in my low beams & fog lights for a while now, including a relay harness for my headlights.

The other day at night when I started my car up the hids in my low beams would not light up. Only my side markers(turn signals) would.

I have been running them without a DRL fuse because I have heard It's better to be on the safe side to do so. I tried putting the DRL fuse back in & the lights worked again for a few days & now they don't.

I checked the DRL fuse again and it's fine but once again, the hids won't turn on. Could the problem be something wrong with the relay harness?? Does anyone have any helpful ideas on what might be the reason this is happening? I'm running out of ideas.

Isn't the low beam fuse(s) the Driving light fuse? If not, I never noticed.

Each beam has its own fuse. Look in the fusebox under the hood, the diagram on the lid shows you where they are.

Checked them. All the fuses are fine.

So now back to square one. Anyone else have any ideas?

Just to follow up on this thread..

I checked everything and it ended up being the relay harness. For some reason it wasn't working. Checked the fuse on the relay and it was fine & I also checked all the connections. So for now I'm running my hids without a relay.

Probably a bad relay. You can replace it.
