Hooking up your iPod

I was just wondering if any of you hook your iPod directly up to your headunits (stock). I have a 06' SS w/the mp3 playable headunit along with the Pioneer speakers. I was wanting to know if there was an auxilury input I could use to hook my iPod up to it. Because I have an FM transmitter and I want something that is clearer. I want to think there were bluetooth adapters you can use, but I'm not real sure? Thanks.

you need a line out converter. It will allow you to have an rca input wired up in the back of the deck. Then all you need is a rca to sterio adaptor and wire it to the glovebox and plug in the ipod. I think this should work.

Is there a solution for the head unit to control the i-pod as well?

Or is it possible to switch out to the 09 with the usb?

why spend 139 dollars just for aux. if you want aux and just want to keep a stock head unit just buy a 07 head unit.

done.

i wouldnt buy a 139 dollar kit just for aux. my deck was 159. id rather take 20 more bux and buy a deck. it will sound alot better than the shitty stock headunit anyway
