hope someone can help
Ok i have a 07'cobalt SS and i have kenwood double din nav setup with a fusion 4 channel amp. im an installer so this is confusion me a great deal. i hooked up the output like i wouldalways do using the factory wires from the deck and tapping in to them and taking it to the aftermarket amp. well when i do this i get a crackling noise every few mins its bugging me bad. Is there a preamp in this car i dont know about ? also with none of the amps hooked up and i touch the two speaker wires together on all the speakers they pop as if there is stil power going to them please help me.

im pretty sure you have the line out converter hooked up since you are using factory wires. on the line out converter there is a gain, try adjusting the gain on it if that does not work you then you will need to get a ground loop, since you do istalls im sure you know what im talking about

nope no line out converter
no i am not using a line out converter . I have a kenwood DDX7019 nav unit and a fusion 1/2 din Eq/ line driver. What im thinking is since i havnt bypassed the factory amp its putting too much voltage output into the factory amp and cause the humming also what gives me this indication is it screeches when everything is turing on . maybe the capacitors in the factory amp cant take such a high voltage as well. so i guess im gonna look underthe drivers dash and see what i can find does anybody have the diagram for this amp . I can have GM send me one if no one does thanks for your help .
any pros out there have any input on my situation
i have ddx 7019 kenwood deck
fusion EQ/ 8 volt rms line driver
1 fusion 1600 watt 4 channel and 2 800 watt mono blocks running my subs
im using audio pipe twisted pemium series RCAs
ground loops isos do not work
maybe a ground loop inline with my decks power might ..... what do you think ?
