How do i keep the fogs on with highbeam

Canada How do i keep the fogs on with highbeam

I know, i know.... but i still want it, as i do alot of night driving and fogs and Highbeams are wicket as long as no one is comming, in witch i use low beam and fogs.

Any ideas how to do this?

that would defeat the purpose, high beams in fog reflects the light back at you, thats why there are fog lights... and i dont think you can do it anyway...

You would have to rewire the fog lights to avoid the relay that shuts them off when the high beams come on. not sure how to tho. lol

Take out one of your headlights and splice into your fogs. Run it to your own switch then to a fused line going to the battery. You can now turn them on whenever you want without your tails coming on, or leave them on with high beams. You can relay it to the acc wire or something if you have a tendency to leave stuff on. switch the wires on the headlights, so when your regular headlights are running, its actually your high beams that are on, and once you hit high beams it cuts to the low beams..

^ Would be the easiest way, yes. At the end of the day you should really just get better headlights though.

i did something similar to this in the focus i had. it was just taking out the relay and running one wire. idk if it'd be the same with the cobalt though...
