how do you make your stock radio work after installing aftermarket headunit

how do you make your stock radio work after installing aftermarket headunit

I have a dvd player installed in my car that i am going to be selling soon. I was wondering if there is anything i need to do to install my stock radio and to make it work again. I have all the harnesses and everything. DO i need to unlock it cause it was removed from the car. I need some answers please and thanks

nope... as long as you didnt cut any harnesses when installing your aftermarket radio and its your stock radio your fine just plug er in

Unless you took it to gm to have it reprogrammed, it will still work in your car. Your vin is hard-coded meaning that if you remove the radio, unplug your battery for a long time, your vin is still there.
