How do you remove the HVAC knobs??
I am going to be painting my dash pieces and I can't figure out how to remove the HVAC knobs to save my life. Anybody done this or know how it's done?

I would think all the GM cars use the same type of knobs for the HVAC. The ones in my Moms 08' Impala SS look just like mine.

Oh thats right, you guys have the "older" style knobs. Damn, I thought they were the same.

These are the cobalts HVAC controls right?

doesn the hvac have clear numbers so that light can shine through? wont painting it cover it up? im not in my car so i dont remember what the damn thing look like right now
