I dont know whats going on. Radio
I got a a new radio. Pioneer avh x5500 Bhs. I have 2009 cobalt lt. I have the gmos lan 04. Followed the wiring instructions. Connected them right. Hook it up to my radio. It comes on but I hear nothing. It's not like I could wire the speakers wrong since it's RCA, right?
I need help figuring out what wiring harness I need for a 2.2 with only 4 speakers.
The gmos lan 04 didn't work.
I called they said I need gmos lan 03
So I order that one. Which I'm waiting for.
Found a gmos lan 03 gm lan 11 on eBay for a good price. Is that the same thing?
Also I went on axxesss website. They said I need their gmos lan 034.
Which one do I need!
To many wiring harness. Just want to have my radio in and working.

Yea it threw me off. I might bid for it. But in the description it says it's new but they tested it to see if it works and I saw recent bad reviews say there stuff doesn't work.
I emailed the axxess people about it. They didn't really answer my question about the difference between gmos lan 03. Gmos lan 034. Gmos lan 03 gm lan 11. But they told me I could use the LC-GMRC-LAN-03. Which takes out onstar. $50 cheaper.

The wiring harness works good. The radio is fuzzy bc my antenna is messed up when I move it around the Channels clear up. Now the gmos lan 3. Is damn messy. So many wires everywhere. The connectors I used are garbage. So I'm gonna some different ones. Thinking about taking this one back and getting the LC-GMRC-LAN-03. If it's less wires. The gmos lan 04 is much easier set up then gmos lan 03.
Yea I'll clean it up later when I get different connectors. These suck. Not giving it a full connection. But most of the time it does.
Yea I cut out the plastic and took out the metal bar.
Just need to figure out the radio problem. Not finding any channels. Everything is fuzzy. Expect one. At one time. I could hear channels. But very fuzzy. I can't tell it's my antenna. Since it's off track. But that shouldn't stop it from getting signal

i would check the factory connection inside the truck to ensure it is secure. If so then not much else you can do other than replace the antenna

Yea I probably might have too.
Do you have a aftermarket head unit? This isn't a bid deal but when I turn my auto lights off. The sound on plays through one radio then right back to all of them. It's odd.

The gmos lan 03. Is very odd wiring harness. I have 2 ignition wires. I just left one alone. maybe it's for an amp? I don't know. I'm gonna fix some wires with different connectors. I might just get the other wiring harness. That doesn't retain onstar. Since that one seems less of a mess.
I called metra. They said I have to hook up both ignition wires together. So that would be 3 in total being hooked up? Also does everyone have a relay box that makes your chimes work on y'all's wiring harness? On the gmos lan 04 kit I bought before I got the gmos lan 3 didn't have it.
Maybe the ignition wires has something to do with it? With the whole lights thing

maybe but that sounds like a ground issue. is the ground wire secure? do you have the right one hooked up? If you have a bad ground then the radio will get its ground from the antenna. and if the antenna connection in the truck isnt secure which is somewhat likely then its going to be an even worse ground then it already was
