more?

I am assuming your refering to the fact the subz handle less power than the amp puts out? Honestly that amp would push those nicely if wired correctly. Just watch the amount of bass you rrun through them. If you like rap, id sell the tens and get 12s but it should still sound ok. good luck, let me know if you need a wiring diagram. chris

The way I have my speakers wired is down to 1 ohm. Im just figuring I have 1500w split by two, so I was figuring a 2000w amp might do the trick. One thing i shold do is get new component speakers so I can turn up the bass higher then -4. the reason 'i have it low is that I dont know what the stock speakers can handle. If the stock headunit's 50w output would be too much.

no there is no such thing as too much power from a head unit... btw 50w is peake power so your looking at maybe 20w rms per speaker

Don't under estimate the Massive amps either, they are very nice and from what I have noticed have no over-heating issues. I'm still fairly new to the electronic side of things, but I have a Massive D-class 1,000.1 pushing two 10" Fosgates and man do they hit, not to mention my amp isn't even breaking a sweat.

By the way, I re-read your post. Depending on how you have them wired will depend on how much you push em without blowing the Diamond Audios. My Fosgates are set at about 3 ohms and I have no major issues as of yet, but I don't push em hard all the time either. Weather or not your Massive amp is a D-class will make a difference also, the D-class amps are specifically designed for pushing subs.

Yeah, the 2 ohm speakers are wired to one ohm (voice coils wired in parallel). But 2 1 ohm speakers will either give the amp a .5 ohm load, or a 2 ohm load, depending on whether you wire them in parallel or series. Wiring them in parallel will most definitely put the amp into protection mode. Wiring them in series will reduce the power output of the amp.
