Radio display goes crazy

The radio display in my 06 LS coupe will, for no reason, turn into something from a video game. It just scrolls numbers and letters like crazy. If I hit the info button it freezes up the display with every light displayed. I can still change stations fine and it seems to reset itself if I shut the car off and restart it. It has been to the dealer twice and they can't replicate the problem or pull any codes. Anyone have any ideas?

The same thing happened with mine. They wont be able to replicate it at the dealership, because it seems to do it at random times. Just unhook the battery, and then reconnect it after like 3 minutes. It might do it again after that, but, only for like another 1 or 2 times. My stopped and it doesnt happen anymore. I figure it was just a beginners glitch.

Our salesman even drove it home and back to the dealership with the diagnostics hooked up. Still no joy on a solution. If it happens again and I'm local, I plan on going to the nearest dealership while it is still malfunctioning.

Happens alot with the old grand am radios too. It doesn't really help you any but I just thought I would shed some light on the fact that this is a common problem with older GM stock systems.
