If you are looking to put a stereo system in your car with the stock radio you can use a high low converter you can find a decent one for about 30 bucks. since you dont have a power antenna, and since its a bitch to tap in to your wiring if you dont know what your doin then just use a fuse that will shut your amp off when the key is in the off position otherwise your battery will be die(remote wire). also make sure its atleast 10amp fuse to be on the safe side.

If you are going to put a hi low converter in than you have to go off of your rear speakers or better yet your stock sub. So you mite as well just put a low voltage trigger in you won't
have to wire in to your fuse box.
But first check your amp and see if it has high level inputs if so more than likeily you won't
need a switch wire at all or a hi low converter this is the best way that i know of

i just did it the other way and i did tap into my rear speakers
ok...i already have my kenwood amp and 2 kicker 12's set up...my friend tapped into the 6x9's for the signal. I wanted to know because i found an aux jack that plugs into rca jacks....so i can plug my mp3 player into my stock head unit...but since it doesn't have rca jacks...then the idea is done.

there has to be a better way to get subs in there without splicing wires and messing around with the stock audio. i mean pac audio made a stock audio intergration for my grand am GT with monsoon that just was a device that pluged into the stock place in the back of the deck and the regular monsoon plugged into the device. and outta the device came a set of rca jacks for subs or more speakers or whatever. email pac audio about this a couple days ago and still no response. hopefully they will have something like that for us in the future so we dont have to be cutting wires

I think you misunderstood what i was asking....i dont need to plug anything into rca jacks....i wanted to know if the back of the head unit had rca jacks as outputs so i could plug in an adapter...but it looks like i'll have to go the route of wired fm transmitter.

It goes behind the deck you plug all your speaker wires in one side and it gives you 2 or 3 rca outputs if you already have the pioneer system i think you will have to replace your stock amps = stock speakers too
