Question Infinity Reference 6022i

I bought these a few years ago for my Firebird but never installed them. The front passenger door speaker in 2010 SS is basically shot. I was wondering if these speakers would fit and work? They are Infinity Reference 6022i 6 1/2 2-way speakers. I know nothing about car audio, are these even good quality speakers?

yes they will fit and work. they are 4 ohm so if you have the pioneer system they will sound about half as loud give or take compared to stock speakers. you would need 2 ohm speakers, if you are just replacing the stock speakers, on a pioneer system to get the full power/volume

I have the infinity 6030cs they are cheap with a crossover and tweeter for the pod and it and take a good beating and sound pretty good. Here is a link:
Amazon.com: Infinity Reference 6030cs 6.5-Inch 270-Watt Two-Way Component System: Car Electronics Amazon.com: Infinity Reference 6030cs 6.5-Inch 270-Watt Two-Way Component System: Car Electronics
also depending on your budget and what you are aiming for you could get a good set of 6x9's with a small amp and be good. The components are also 2 ohm which will take all of your power from stock amp.

I am just looking to replace the stock speakers with similar to slightly better speakers. Not really into high tech car audio stuff, nor would i even know how to hook that stuff up.

How are these speakers for a replacement?

IIRC all pioneer equipped balts are. The base models will fit a 6.5in up front but you need brackets (which many speakers come with)

not sure why it wouldnt fit amazon is probably crazy. if u check the sonic electronics site it says they fit and they are 2 ohm where do u see 4 ohm??

really they are both the same speaker the CF is the regular version and the SI is the shallow. the non shallow will probably sound better and we have tons of space in our car so depth shouldnt be an issue. unless the basket is different which is highly doubtful and even if it was it would still fit just not as easily

I went onto crutchfield and they said:
Impedance (Ohms) 4

But i see Ohms 2 on the Infinity site and the Sonic electronics site. Thank you for all the help!
