I've been watching that build too, amazing work, meticulous would be an understatement.

Pik: Nice setup you have there! How do you like those zapco comps? Ever Been to diymobileaudio.com? Nothing but die hard SQ people that are super nice and super knowledgeable. Theres a couple of other guys with cobalts over there, you should check it out if you haven't.

the Zap components are new, I was running the same setup in my last car except i had Rainbow germaniums in there (which were very sweet). I'm waiting on deadener and an alarm to come in, then this 08 balt is gonna get gutted! i can't wait to get it all in but let me tell you the comps came in the mail and the package weighed 15 pounds! the mids are beefy!

Yeah, I opened the thread thinking it was going to be an M and was about ready to cry. Then I saw it was just a 3-series and breathed a sigh of relief.

 

Sorry to mislead people, didnt even pay attention to the fact that it wasn't an M3. Pik: I love to see and install log of your car. I m hoping to fully deaden mine this summer and finish up my system. I m still pretty new to the sq scene and trying to keep it semi-cheap for now. I m running an ed 12a22 powered by a rf punch 150, alpine cda 9887 and some cheap kenwood comps. I m wanting to swap to peerless 7" mids and alpine xt-19s very soon hopefully possibly powered by and older ppi amp, but not set in stone. Wish I could afford zapco!

things like that and impulse baller make me really want to learn and make a fG/ CF box for my sub... and alot of other things.. i'd love to have part of my door cf where it covers / could hold the speakers...
