bought that deck.
its bigger than a single din.
obviously not a double din.
the only install kit for the ions is a single din or you cut it out for a double din.
not sure what i need to do to make this work

anyone have experience with this?

 

it says its "1DIN" im assuming its a single din..of course i know nothing about installing decks though

 

Look like its standard size with an oversized faceplate. What installation hardware came with the unit? Should have a mounting sleeve.

 

the deck itself came with a small frame piece to go around it and the install kit is a single din but i can't seem to get the face plate to fit properly with it. Maybe im a noob cuz i haven't since i haven't installed one with a kit like this before.

 

ya its a single din oversized face so u need a spacer to make it so it doesn't hit the kit.

 

are those usually included or is it something extra? if its an extra do you have a link to it?

 

not in the cobalt kit. um you can probably bug a local shop for one for a few bucks. or use the piece that came in the cobalt kit just bore it out
