Hi everyone,

I went down to an audio store in my home town and they are telling me that I have to buy some $200 gm wiring harness. Apparently in the 05 ss/sc all the diagnostic checks are done through the stock HU and this wiring harness as an adapter to go through the checks. Has anyone run into this? Is this guy bullshitting me? Can I buy just a regular harness .... and not cause any damge to my car (not being able to start the car).

I've looked everywhere and can't find any information on it.
