Installing A Dvd Player

ok how much do u think it would cost to get a double din dvd player installed? is it hard to install yourself thanks?

Mine including install was 1k. I got the Kenwood DDX-7019.

Depends.... The dash kit for the one i am getting is 24.99, and you have to tuck the top two tabs in during install or cut them. The install labor on it is free! Being the shop does free installs on all decks bought over 100 dollars. Other than that the install fee would be 124.99 + Parts. I still have to pay for parts which is dash kit (25) harness (25 unless u have the onstar stuff adn what not, my controls are in teh cluster rather than the radio, otherwise its like 125) Antenna wire (13). Thats the price of parts just to get it installed, there may be a few small things they'll charge you for for small fabrications, but nothing major. You're looking at around 200ish (labor and parts) plus the price of the dvd player. NOW if you want it to play while you're driving for you're passanger, you wll have to pay five bucks for a push button relay switch to tap into the e brake line to trick it. Do a search on it if you wan't more details on that!
