How does the factory head unit come out of the car? Does the plastic peices just pull off? Also will I need a capacitor if I run one jl w3v2 with a 300 watt amp?

the side moldings around the headunit will come off the piece above the glove box will come off and the one for the information buttons will 2. and all u gotta do is unscrew the stock head unit and put your headunit and insert in. cuz the plastic piece are in there by little gold clips. and u dun need a capacitor unless your pushing a 1000 watt amp.

run it behind the console and under the glove box. then run it from there under the paneling above the floor carpet . then run it under the arm rest for the back then trough there into the back seat and then into the back.

But 1 question do u have a coupe or sedan??

light dimming is a bad sign. It means your amp or amps are pulling so much power that your bat. cant give enough power to all the other functions. If you have this get a cap or you will be replacing your altinator.

You should know that your radio will only work in your car. It has to register with the cars main computer and if your vin number doesn't match up, you can't use the stereo system.
