installing tv, help please ;]

ok, so i put in my LOC with my 2 JBL subs and it sounds GREAT, but now i really want to put my Jensen 7" flip up tv in. i came across the "Metra Turbo installation kit for DIN / DIN ISO mount headunit with Pocket" for sale on cobalt-addiction.com...... will i lose my oil life %, trip A and B, fuel milage, and miles remaining on my currant tank of gass and all that good stuff that i can view on my speedometer? i dont mind losing my factory head unit that displays the current radio station and name of song playing currently

if i install the harness that comes with that Metra turbo kit will i lose door chimes, and mess anything else?

i have a 2006 cobalt SS s/c with pioneer system and full package.

will i lose my onstar as well? basically, if i attach a harness to my stock wires and take out my stock head unit, is that all that will change (the stock head unit) ?

On star will most likly be lost, there are some kits that let you keep it but they are the expensive ones. Just attach the harness to the stock plus and the wires need to be attached to the plug from the head unit.

If you have steering wheel controls you will have to get a SWI-X and program it, but these things arent always effiecient. To keep Onstar and most other car functions you might need a GMRCL-1, just ask around.
