interceptor accuracy question

I've had my interceptor installed for about 2 weeks now and decided to put it on the "hp" setting. I did a 3rd gear pull but didnt redline it. I let off around 5800 rpm and the gauge read 306 hp. I've never been on a dyno and was wondering if anyone else used this setting before with accurate results.

I have a 2008 LNF with catless dp, dejon sri, and a hptune.

No one has one because is old and inaccurate

Some features are not accurate in the interceptor. If not I will say that my car has 400hp lol

don't think I've ever used the HP setting. I might now just to see what it says.

sometimes I question the accuracy of my AFR on my interceptor but its been pretty spot on compared to logging with HPT

Keep it out of direct sunlight.

If it is less than a year old, email them.

Direct sunlight makes the LCD act funky for some reason. I do not understand how considering I have a Pioneer in dash LCD that sees direct sun and never screws up, but whatever.

I have 20% tint all around and I bought it from another member on here. Kinda pissed now and I had a hard enough time installing it because the screws on the back aren't long enough to reach the silver holding clip on the pod. Oh well, do I need proof of purchase to contact them?

There were originally screw in adapters to make it the bolts reach.

Yes, you need P.o.P since the warranty is 1 year from date of purchase.

The interceptor is accurate. Just not the hp or performance feature, but who cares about those really.

It is a great tool for logging. I've had mine installed since 2009.

Yes the interceptor is great for daily monitoring of the car. But I wish my screen was visible.

I have my interceptor mounted on my steering column.

On super hot days, it fades out, but after some driving the display goes back close to normal.

Check your wires, I read on the aeroforce forums, that a faded screen can also be caused by a voltage drop to the gauge.
