interior light issue

interior light issue

hey guys/gals,
i have an 06 cobalt ss with no mods other then coilovers.i have an issue with my interior lights staying on. when i go to lock my car via the remote,the lights do not turn off. any ideas. they also stayed on for a while when i was driving the car. im talking 5 mins here. thank you!

are u sure the switch is in the right position? does it feel iffy? might need to buy a new assembly. i rapped my switch by taking it off once. they are real touchy

well the switch is on the mirror itself.one for the left and one for the right.is there another switch that keeps the interior lights on?

There's a dimmer switch that tells the lights when to dim when you open/close the door or unlock the car.
