Ok i have a question? I noticed in some 06 Redlines they have the HU that cobalts come with in 07 and up. I noticed it has the Aux plug. Is there a way to install this HU on an 06 SS/SC? If so how is it done. Thanks in advance i'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to stereos and what not so any advice is appreciated.

 

doubt it. they might have just got the 07 plug early. the new gm plug was around in before 07... which vehicles used it depends on the vehicle but i doubt they would make the new radio with the old harness

 

It should work as long as the car is xm/onstar equipped i believe. 99% sure.
dunno about mounting and such but yeah.
