I want to integrate my iPhone with my 07 Cobalt stock head unit. I have the single disk MP3 stereo with XM radio.

I would like to connect to the iPhone using the dock connector, then use the head unit or steering wheel controls to advance the tracks. I am not too concerned about talking on the phone through the stereo, so hopefully that helps my situation, but if that option is available I will consider it. Also, I do not want to give up my XM radio.

Anyone have any ideas? Would the GM PAL work on an 07 head unit while maintaining the XM radio?

 

not sure if it will retain xm... it might but sorta doubtful. gm pal would be the only way thou
