Well I got 2 JL 500/1 amps 2 JLW3 12" and 2JLW3 10" now installed...its actualy not that bad for rattles..I took the time to pad and tape down the harnesses that run through the trunk...but with it turned up its not as bad as I though it would be for rattles listening from the back end.

Why is that so funny!! I have punch amp and sub and it sounds pretty decent. They also have power and competition series. Which I'm sure is just as good as jl or better.

for all istalling subs you mine as well remove the spare and jack to even out the weight. The openings on our trunks seem like they would be a pain in the ass to pull out a sub box and remove amp wires so you can get to the spare on the side of the road. Not to mention there is no place to put the full size tire once you cahnge it.

Full Rockford system
I have a Full Rockford system and will put it against almost anything for what I have paid. I am more into clarity rather than a ton of boom, I have that in my other car and have out grown it, now sound quality is more important that how many DB I hit.

There is many other products on the market. Like an inflet tire can 8$ only. Also have asked my tire shop if it's ok for the tire to be repaired after I have used it. They say that some people say no but this is ballshet. They can fix a tire for no extra cost. But it might take 15 min. longer to clean all that shet out.

Dying to put my system into my cobalt, got 2 10'' JL W6's in an H.O Box with the JL amp. Gonna connect it to factory radio for now...it was sick when it was in my old blazer.

Also, decent price??? from what I know they are one of the most expensive.
On a side note... does the cobalt trunk rattle a lot from the subs?

I have installed Dynamat in several places in my trunk and its still rattle. Its not as crazy as before inside the car but I was thinking that spending 200$ canadian on dynamat would resolve all the rattle problems. The car rattle a lot outside the trunk, under the rear bumper and on the side.Overall the sound is better with dynamat(more tight bass).Need a better amp to push my sub and my speakers and I will be find with my setup.
